Today, I worked at the fireworks stand. Definitely excited about LA!! That was great fun. But after that I went to pre-service prayer at Paradigm. During that, God gave me a whole sermon about trust. Kinda how God provides for us. He can only provide for us if we let Him and trust in Him to provide for us. And how being fearful of having an intimate relationship with God will prevent God's provision because of a lack of trust. During worship at Paradigm God was so faithful. He took control of worship and His presence was so thick. It was cool just being able to worship freely. Then later that night P.Nick gave a message talking about laying our lives before Jesus. There, the Holy Spirit told me to go up for prayer because of my fear and lack of boldness. I did go up after a while of arguing with God. At the alter Mrs. Hollingsworth prayed for me, not knowing my situation and said EXACTLY what I needed to hear. Funny how God works that way... wow. so good.
To add to my good night, Kasie came to church.
Then later that night, I was talking to Angela. Here is our conversation.
"Angela! Guess what?"
"What?" she replies.
"I love you!"
"I love you too." she replies with a smile.
" I like your earrings. Are they from Africa?"
"Yes. They are."
"I want some african earrings." I said, jokingly.
"Do you want these?"
she proceded to take off the earrings she was wearing and give them to me.
"Happy Africa!" she said.
I love you Angela!
To add to the wonderful night, I ran by the fireworks stand to check my hours for the next day. Anthony locked the door as a joke so I ran around and jumped over the counter. But... in my excitement, I forgot about the nail sticking out of the counter. I ripped my pants. but it was kinda funny. Definitely an experience I won't forget. And Rachel Chapman laughed so hard and proceded to tell me the no one wants to dance with the fool who rips his pants.
So goooood.
I love Jesus :)
